The beany epiphany

Undressing.
The wind licks my skin
The sea with her lovely limbs
embraces me
Me

Head under
Frozen

Sudden rain on the hill
Arrives ahead of time

Sand whips up in beautiful patterns
Pummelling my face
Like snow winds

Dressing
Now I know for real
I touch the
Rage of another’s grief
And I will not drown.
